Operation

MAL mostly focuses on professional and philosophical activities. The interests of MAL members are primarily protected by TEK. One of the key tasks of MAL is to keep TEK informed about the special qualities and needs of MAL members. At the same time, MAL works in close cooperation with TEK to strengthen the position of their members in the labour market, and to promote the aims of TEK.

The key elements of MAL’s member-facing activities include publication and communication, training, student activities, membership surveys, membership acquisition, stakeholder cooperation and social influence. Training activities consist of seminars, visits and training courses to enhance the members’ professional skills. Research activities mainly consist of surveys and studies among members. MAL’s social influence arises from working as an expert organisation that issues statements, publishes opinions and makes suggestions in matters related to the fields represented.
